Leif
Johansen has studied studio music and jazz at both The University of North
Texas State and The University of Miami where his principal
instrument was Upright Bass and Electric Bass.
Upon completion of his studies
he started working with A-ha playing both Bass and programming/sequencing
Keyboards. This caused him to relocate from America to England
and opened the door for collaborations as both musician,
producer and composer with many London based international
artists. Leif quickly switched over to start playing both guitar
and keyboards professionally along with engineering and mixing.
Leif was co- founder of 21
GUNS along with Scott Gorham (of Thin Lizzy fame), a member
of Far Corporation (along with Simon Phillips and Bobby
Kimbal), and Producer of the Phenomena records(Glenn Hughes,
John Wetton,Brian May etc.) amongst other projects. He has recently completed his solo record Life-White Flowers which will be released in the new year. You can read more at www.lifenotleaf.com
Georg
Wadenius has worked as a professional musician and producer
since 1968. In Sweden he worked originally with Made in
Sweden, Pugh Rogefeldt, Cornelis Vreeswijk, Solar Plexus.
He then joined Blood, Sweat and Tears from 1972-5. He was
a permanent member of the Saturday Night Live band between
1979 and 1985 and one of the most sought-after studio guitarists
in New York during the 80s.
He has recorded with (among
countless others) Roberta Flack, Luther Vandross, Dionne
Warwick, Aretha Franklin, Diana Ross, Dr. John, Joe Thomas,
Freddie Jackson, Jeffrey Osborne, Donald Fagen, George Benson, The Backstreet
Boys and Steely Dan. He has toured with Simon and Garfunkel,
Steely Dan, Roberta Flack and Luther Vandross (among,of course, countless
others).
After returning to Scandinavia
he has produced Gold and Platinum records with Silje Nergaard,
Lisa Ekdahl, Helen Sjöholm, Sigvart Dagsland and Anne Grete Preus apart from
doing his own projects. He is now in Production with Anne-Sofie Von Otter which will be completed in December 2004
